Men are now seeking to have their nipples reshaped and resized

Posted on October 29, 2014 by

Among men who are having plastic surgery, there is a new trend emerging – smaller nipples to go along with new sculpted pecs. While having surgery on the stomach and pecs is not uncommon for men who go under the knife, it is certainly a new development that the size of the nipple would come into play. According to a study conducted by The Daily Mail, men are looking to make their nipples smaller and flatter, as well as more shapely – the most common being an almond look.

This is particularly popular among people who have recently lost a significant amount of weight, either through other surgeries or natural exercising techniques. When the weight is gone, males are often left with excess skin, including nipples that they feel are now too large for their body. That is what makes this kind of surgery so appealing to these men, as they can now choose the nipples that they think best suit their new body while also looking the most natural.

The sudden rise in popularity is attributed largely to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, which recently had a survey among volunteer men and women to see what the ideal nipple would look like. After the nearly 70 people surveyed pictures of 100 topless men, they concluded that the best nipple would be small, flat and just a bit darker than the surrounding skin. This relatively small sample size now has men thinking differently about whether or not they want to have their nipples operated on.
