As we've touched on recently, no one has to contend with plastic surgery rumors more than female celebrities, particularly women who are approaching their 40s, 50s and beyond. So, naturally, the red carpet at the Emmy's this weekend was as alive with surgical speculation as it was with talk of designers and gowns.
The gossip columnists at the OC Register, a SoCal news outlet, consolidated the rumors in a slideshow of starlets who may or may not have gone under the knife before stepping out in their stunning gowns. Amid the celebrities who may or may not have invested in breast augmentation or a round of Botox, the source also featured some famous faces who have openly talked about their choice to get work done.
While it's well-known that comedienne Kathy Griffin has had ample work done – and certainly looks better for it – fellow jokester and "Bridesmaids" darling Kristen Wiig has also altered her appearance surgically.
"Kristen Wiig, nominated for best supporting actress in a comedy for her roles in "Saturday Night Live," got a nose job about three years ago," the news outlet states.
Kyle Richards of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" also made an appearance at the high-profile event. The stunning brunette has admitted to various procedures including rhinoplasty and has never looked back.
