Miranda Lambert talks weight loss

Country superstar Miranda Lambert says she has lost an astonishing 45 pounds thanks to diet and exercise changes. She tells FOX News that she now regularly engages in cardio workouts and also sweats with a trainer during strength and resistance exercise sessions. Although she says she did give up some of her old junk food vices like Cheetos, she still enjoys a beer or cocktail on occasion. 

Lambert is married to fellow country singer Blake Shelton. She recently took home the award for best Female Video of the Year at the 2014 CMT Awards, while her husband won the same award in the male category. The star has received a lot of praise for her amazing physical transformation, which she began shortly before turning 30. 

“People think I lost more, but I’m short,” she told People Magazine. “I’m only 5’4″ so when I gain, I gain everywhere, and when I lose, I lose everywhere.”
