Although Nicole Kidman once told the DailyMail that her approach to aging was "completely natural," it seems as if she has opted for Botox injections, proven by her new look at the Cannes Film Festival. The 46-year-old actress, who was attending the Festival to promote her new film "Grace of Monaco," appeared to have a fuller, puffier face with some swelling. This can be caused when Botox procedures aren't executed by a qualified doctor.
According to celebrity news source HollywoodLife, many plastic surgeons agree that Kidman has received Botox injections and fillers. However, unfortunately for Kidman, these procedures weren't executed properly. The star's eyes look smaller than normal, which is possibly a result of faulty injections.
"The filler makes it looks like her cheeks are falling," a New York-based doctor told the source. "There is a slight indent under her right eyelid, that's where the filler should be and it makes her look older. There is also an indentation on right laugh line — clearly the Botox is done poorly because her left eye and upper eyebrow is drooping and her eye is almost closing."
